Tips to secure the top rank in IIT-JEE Main Exams 2022-23

Jackson Brown, Jr, it is the time of the year when the IIT-JEE aspirants need to go the extra mile to crack the score of their choice to be admitted in that dream college of yours. Recently the syllabus revision for JEE Advanced 2023 was announced and we are sure that the aspirants will be confused about the preparation procedures involved. The revised syllabus for JEE Advanced 2023 is synchronised with the National Education Policy 2020, and its primary objective is to decrease the student’s pressure. It is important to note that the pattern or syllabus of JEE Main 2022 remains unchanged. 

As you all know JEE Main entryway to claim admission to one of the top engineering colleges in the country and the exam consists of 3 subjects- Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics and each subject needs specific levels and methods to prepare thoroughly. Here are a few tips to secure the top rank in IIT-JEE Main Exams 2022. 

Be aware of the JEE Main 2022 Exam Pattern- The first and foremost point to be kept in mind while planning to prepare for JEE Main is to get a clear understanding of JEE Main exam pattern. Only post that the candidates should move towards the exam syllabus. Be aware that there are three separate papers for BTech, BArch, and B.Plan for JEE Main 2022 and the total number of questions will be different for each of these papers. 

Be thorough with the syllabus- The aspirant should be well aware of the syllabus before setting the target to crack the exams. They should know the fundamentals of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics of classes 11 and 12. The National Testing Agency (NTA) which conducts exams will elaborate on the syllabus which allows the aspirants to know in detail on what and how to prepare for JEE Main 2022.

Segregate the syllabus for JEE Main 2022- The syllabus should be segregated into the Class 11 syllabus and Class 12 Syllabus. After that separate the topics into, ‘Thorough or Known Topic’, Don’t Know etc. Make sure of the weightage of the topics and separate them accordingly in the preparation plan. Distribute the time needed to study it. Give more time to the topics which are difficult for you and less to the ones you are thorough with.
